The JAK-STAT Pathway
The JAK-STAT Pathway
The Janus Kinase (JAK) – Signal Transducer & Activator of Transcription (STAT) plays an important and critical role in immune system, especially cytokine receptors. They are involved in the modulation of the polarization of T-helper cells. Therefore it plays a very important role in the immune system of the body.
The growth hormone also takes its effects through the JAK-STAT pathway.
